Full Time - Night - Respiratory Therapist

About the role

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen, aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct respiratory treatments
• Interpret diagnostic data
• Assemble and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment
• Perform physical assessments
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Licensed in good standing
• Registered by the NBRC
• At least 6 months of experience
• Must obtain NRP and PALS within one year if not already certified

Key Duties

• Administer oxygen, aerosols, and mechanical ventilation
• Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics
• Maintain equipment
• Participate in quality assurance
• Provide patient-centered care sensitive to diverse needs
