Full-Time Night Respiratory Therapist

About the role

Full-time Night Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for therapeutic and diagnostic procedures such as ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, and airway maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies
• Interpret diagnostic data
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment
• Conduct patient assessments
• Ensure safety and infection control
• Utilize critical thinking and communicate effectively to enhance patient satisfaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Texas license
• NBRC registration
• NRP and PALS certifications required within one year
• New graduates are eligible

Skills

• Proficiency in respiratory assessment, treatment, and equipment operation
• Ability to interpret diagnostic data
• Ability to work under indirect supervision
• Provide culturally sensitive care
