Full-Time Night Respiratory Therapist

About the role

Full-time Night Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance. You will assess and treat patients of all ages, interpreting data such as CXR, ABG, and PFTs, while ensuring equipment functionality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapeutics and perform diagnostic procedures
• Evaluate treatment plans through physical assessments and patient interviews
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain cardiopulmonary equipment
• Participate in infection control, safety, and quality assurance tasks
• Perform procedures with critical thinking and interpret clinical data
• Ensure documentation and patient satisfaction through effective communication

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardio Life Support certifications
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board
• Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Ability to perform procedures on both adults and neonates; new graduates are accepted
