About the role
The Senior Manager in Compensation & Benefits leads client engagements related to corporate transactions, focusing on tax and operational aspects of employee reward programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage teams assisting clients during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and IPOs by analyzing tax exposures, drafting technical memoranda, designing post-transaction processes, and integrating compensation and benefits programs globally.
- Maintain senior-level client relationships, advise on compliance and operational matters, lead project delivery, and oversee engagement quality, risk, and financial performance.
- Contribute to business development and mentor team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in employer benefits strategies, including global compensation, equity sourcing, employment tax, M&A advisory, and related areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; professional credentials such as CPA, EA, JD, or advanced degrees preferred.
- Strong project management, client relationship, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to innovate solutions, manage multiple complex projects, and demonstrate technical expertise with attention to detail.
- Excellent advisory, analytical, and presentation skills, along with a proactive approach to client service and team leadership.
