About the role

Clinical Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a high-acuity, post-anesthesia setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients recovering from surgery and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-operative assessments.
• Perform close hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring.
• Manage pain and symptoms, administer medications, and ensure safe handoffs with anesthesia and surgical teams.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute or post-anesthesia nursing preferred.
