About the role
Clinical Nurse in an inpatient psychiatric unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care for adults with behavioral health needs.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and deliver crisis interventions.
- Coordinate care plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers.
- Support safety protocols and de-escalation strategies.
- Educate patients and their families about care and treatment.
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric nursing care, ensure patient safety, and support recovery through teamwork and education.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
