As a Branch Ambassador at Capital One, you are the face of an exceptional, human‑centric banking experience. Responsibilities

• Guardian of Trust & Accuracy: Execute high‑volume cash transactions—including deposits, withdrawals, and complex negotiable instrument processing—with 100% accuracy while maintaining a compliance‑first mindset for security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
• Digital Concierge: Educate clients on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments to enhance convenience and security.
• First‑Line Consultant: Actively listen to uncover personal or business goals and match clients with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Hospitality Lead: Greet customers, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and balance high‑volume efficiency with community‑focused warmth.
• Support surrounding branches within a 50‑mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the broader region.
• Maintain flexible availability, including nights and weekends, with the ability to adapt to business‑driven schedule changes.
• Attend required training sessions that may differ from the primary shift schedule.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
• Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
  • At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree.
  • 2 + years of retail or customer‑facing experience.
  • Proficiency in G‑Suite.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Hospitality mindset, tech fluency, precision, adaptability, and curiosity.

Pay

Southampton, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 per year (full‑time)
Speonk, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 per year (full‑time)
Candidates hired in other locations will receive the salary range applicable to that location.

Schedule

Flexible schedule with availability for nights and weekends; hours and days are subject to change based on business needs. Reasonable notice is provided for permanent schedule changes in accordance with state and local laws.
