Responsibilities

• Guardian of Trust & Accuracy – Execute high‑volume cash transactions (deposits, withdrawals, negotiable instrument processing) with 100 % accuracy while maintaining a compliance‑first mindset for security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
• Digital Concierge – Educate clients on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments to increase convenience and security.
• First‑Line Consultant – Actively listen to uncover personal or business goals and match clients with the appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Hospitality Lead – Greet customers, ensure no one feels like just a “number,” and balance high‑volume efficiency with community‑focused warmth.
• Essential Functions (including but not limited to)
  • Support surrounding branches within a 50‑mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the region.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; hours and days may change.
  • Attend required training sessions that may differ from the primary shift.
  • Lift up to 25 lb and stand/move for extended periods.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements

• Basic qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer‑service experience.
  • At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Preferred qualifications
  • Associate’s degree.
  • 2 + years of retail or customer‑facing experience.
  • Proficiency in G‑Suite.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Pay

Mattituck, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 per year.
Riverhead, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 per year.
Salaries for other locations will be based on the local pay range applicable at the time of hire.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; hours and days subject to change.
• Support surrounding branches within a 50‑mile radius, with occasional regional assistance.
• Ability to adapt to business‑driven schedule adjustments and attend required training sessions.
