About the role
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Captain to join their team at Saint Johns Resort. SHG is committed to hospitality, respect, authenticity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director for the performance of hourly banquet food and beverage servers and representing the hotel to banquet guests.
- Provides ongoing direction, supervision, and monitoring to banquet staff.
- Coordinates all aspects of room/facilities set-up, including audio/visual and F&B, ensuring guest satisfaction, meeting division standards, and maximizing profit.
- Performs various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school education minimum.
- One (1) year experience in a hotel customer service role.
- Food safety certification preferred.
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

- Strong time management abilities.
