Full Time - Banquet Captain

About the role

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Captain to join their team at Saint Johns Resort. SHG is committed to hospitality, respect, authenticity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director for the performance of hourly banquet food and beverage servers and representing the hotel to banquet guests.
• Provides ongoing direction, supervision, and monitoring to banquet staff.
• Coordinates all aspects of room/facilities set-up, including audio/visual and F&B, ensuring guest satisfaction, meeting division standards, and maximizing profit.
• Performs various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education minimum.
• One (1) year experience in a hotel customer service role.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

• Strong time management abilities.

$22-$24 per hour.
