Guardian Pharmacy of Minnesota, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is seeking a detail-oriented leader to join our rapidly growing team in Eden Prairie. We deliver customized medication-management solutions to healthcare organizations serving seniors and individuals with complex care needs, using a comprehensive suite of tech-enabled pharmacy services.

About the role

Supervise daily operations of fulfillment technicians, monitor activities, and manage work schedules to maintain quality, production, and service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, manage, and schedule technicians to ensure adequate coverage for workflow within budgeted labor/Rx while keeping overtime low.
  • Develop training materials for departments and update as needed.
  • Evaluate and modify workflow processes and implement changes to meet deadlines, accuracy, and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure all medications are complete and accurate prior to scheduled departures with sufficient time for courier preparation.
  • Assign and manage work volume appropriate to each technician’s duties, measuring both productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure fulfillment technicians are fully trained on assigned workflow area and processes within established time period.
  • Manage daily automation audits to ensure accurate packaging and filling of medications.
  • Develop and conduct regularly scheduled performance evaluations in coordination with the Director of Operations.
  • Provide individual feedback for each team member and document performance improvement goals and objectives.
  • Assist with quarter-end inventory prep and physical inventory.
  • Work as needed on daily functions which may include filling, stocking, prepacking, and working with automation to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
  • Lead by example in all areas of role, supporting non-negotiable attributes: attitude, dependability, commitment, productivity, efficiency, and upholding policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
  • Perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
  • 5+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience).

Work Environment

Ability to work flexible hours.

Pay

Starting pay range: $25–$27 per hour.
