About the role
Epsilon Systems Solutions in San Diego is seeking a Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, manage front desk operations, and assist with office administration.
Responsibilities
- Open and close front desk.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers.
- Affiliate with conference room and desk reservations.
- Affiliate with the organization of company events, meetings, conferences, and special projects.
- Create, update, and enter information into company databases and records management systems.
- Maintain office and kitchen supplies and coordinate ordering and inventory as needed.
- Ensure the front desk, reception area, and conference rooms remain organized and professional.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Copied, scanned, and faxed documents.
- Provide general administrative support to management and staff as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of four (4) years of administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or additional administrative training preferred.
- Experience supporting senior management or executive leadership.
- Experience coordinating meetings and company events.
- Experience maintaining office records, databases, and filing systems.
- Technical writing or professional business writing experience.
- Experience working directly with clients, customers, or external stakeholders.
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
