About the role
Horizon Dental Care is seeking a friendly, organized, dependable Front Office Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial for creating a welcoming first impression and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and make them feel welcome.
- Answer phones and schedule appointments.
- Check patients in and out on computers.
- Help keep the schedule full and organized.
- Collect payments and review basic financial information.
- Follow up with patients by phone, text, or email.
- Help with insurance information and patient paperwork.
- Communicate clearly with the clinical team.
- Keep the front office organized and running smoothly.
Requirements
- A great sense of humor is a must.
- Customer service experience required.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Dependable and on time.
- Good on the phone.
- Good with computers and typing.
- Comfortable talking with patients.
- Able to multitask without getting flustered.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be friendly, professional, and able to handle a variety of tasks with ease. While dental front office experience is preferred, it is not required. Dentrix or dental software experience is helpful but not mandatory.
