About the role
As a Front Office Administrator at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients and stakeholders, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience in every interaction. This role plays a crucial part in the continuity of care by providing administrative support through appointment scheduling, processing paperwork, and handling inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Interacts with all patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Check-in patients for appointments, verify demographic information, provide paperwork, and collect payments.
- Schedule patient appointments and collaborate with providers using multiple computer systems.
- Participate in administrative tasks such as electronic filing, scanning, faxing, and mailing in a timely manner.
- Answer inbound and make outbound phone calls while responding to inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information or triaging as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting room space by managing patient paperwork, office supplies, and other amenities.
- Handle patient concerns and crises with empathy and patience while collaborating with site leadership to resolve, as needed.
- Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferred.
- Physical requirements include occasionally lifting and moving office supplies which can include reams of paper that weigh up to 50lbs.

Compensation
This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will start at $16.00 hourly. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE. Employees in these positions are W2.
