Front Desk Agent | Homestead Courtyard by Marriott

About the role

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Miami Homestead. This role involves delivering superior guest services, handling check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Provide superior guest services, including courteous and efficient check-in/check-out.
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide information and services to guests and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
