About the Role

Join the team at TownePlace Suites Miami Homestead, a 115-room extended-stay hotel conveniently located 30 miles south of Miami and 20 miles north of the Florida Keys. This property offers guests a perfect home base for exploring South Florida’s natural beauty, attractions, and outdoor adventures, with easy access to the Everglades, Biscayne National Park, Homestead Air Reserve Base, and Miami Homestead Speedway.

As part of Shaner Hotels, a leading hospitality owner-operator and management company with over 70 properties across 14 states and three countries, you’ll contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, service-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies and procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments and personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Provide superior guest services, including courteous and efficient check-in/check-out.
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide friendly, professional information and services to guests and visitors.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
