Freight Operations – Air & Sea Import

About the role

Handle complete Air & Sea import shipments from booking to final delivery, managing planning, documentation, tracking, and operational follow‑up while coordinating with overseas agents, carriers, transporters, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipment planning, documentation, tracking and operational follow‑up.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters and customers.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Prepare and verify import documentation, including arrival notices, invoices, BL/AWB and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with customs and internal teams for smooth shipment processing.
• Resolve operational issues, delays and documentation discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and provide regular updates to customers.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable import regulations.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Air & Sea Import Freight Forwarding Operations.
• Strong knowledge of import freight forwarding processes and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet operational timelines.
• Experience with shipping line, airline and freight forwarding portals will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ICEGATE/customs processes will be preferred.
