Air & Sea Import Operations

Subtitle This position is responsible for coordinating air and ocean import shipments to ensure timely delivery in accordance with customer requirements. The role supports service excellence through proactive communication and collaboration with customers, shippers, vendors, overseas agents, and global partners. Your profile High School Graduate, Bachelor's Degree is preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programsMinimum of 5-years experience in air & sea operationsBilingual in Spanish is preferredStrong customer service backgroundHighly motivated and results driven Outstanding communication and customer service skillsWork well under pressure and ability to multitaskHighly detail orientedAbility to work well independently and in a team environment Your Duties Manage air and ocean import shipments from arrival through final delivery while ensuring compliance with company procedures, customs regulations, and customs requirementsServe as the primary contact for customers, carriers, customs authorities, and service providers regarding shipment activity and issue resolutionOversee shipment documentation, customs filings, cargo availabilty, and delivery timelines to prevent delays and additional costs Coordinate service providers and resolve operational, customs, documentation and transportation issues independentlyPrepare and verify invoices, payment requests, and accounts payable/receivable documentation, while resolving billing and accounting-related discrepanciesEnsure timely communication, accurate recordkeeping, and adherence to all regulatory and company requirementsParticipate in weekend coverage rotationsPerform other duties as assigned by manager What We Offer If you are an experienced Air & Sea Import Operations professional who enjoys operational excellence, and delivery exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply today!
