Ocean Freight Import Operations

About the role

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to arrange import shipments according to regulations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Keep track of shipment statuses and update all relevant parties. Troubleshoot and solve daily issues. Document submission and invoicing verification of the completeness and accuracy of import documents to ensure compliance with instructions and regulations in each country before submitting import manifests to carriers or co-loaders. Ensure timely and accurate billing, costing, and resolution of any issues. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve shipment details promptly. Ensure all documentation is accurately uploaded into the system and jobs are closed once billing is completed, taking full responsibility for resolving any outstanding issues related to documentation or billing before closing jobs.
