International Operations Air Freight
About the Role
Adcom Worldwide is looking for a driven and detail-oriented International Operations specialist to join our Air Freight team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities
- Cook up and process export/import documentation including airway bills, commercial invoices, and customs entries
- Communicate with overseas agents, airlines, and carriers to ensure timely movement of cargo
- Maintain an eye on shipment status and promptly address delays, exceptions, or compliance issues
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs compliance, and TSA security requirements
- Provide outstanding customer service by delivering accurate shipment updates and solutions
- Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of inbound and outbound freight
Requirements
- Prior experience in international air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics operations
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs compliance procedures
- Familiarity with freight management systems and carrier portals
- A strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with global partners
- The capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- IATA or Customs Broker license a plus

Compensation
Compensation: $41,600.00 - $57,000.00 per year
