About the role
Manage personal working relationship with Franchisees while remaining committed to the brand and corporate objectives. Focus daily on standards of excellence in all areas of the business. You will be in clubs working with the team 85 to 90% of the month.

Responsibilities
- Coach and develop all assigned clubs to provide excellence in service to members.
- Provide guidance to Franchise personnel in all facets of Health Club operations, including new member growth, member service, profit center revenue generation, cost controls, marketing, purchasing, and people development.
- Ensure franchisee compliance to Corporate standards through audits, operations evaluations, business reviews, and training programs.
- Recognize and share best practices, standards of excellence, procedures, and ideas throughout the Retro Fitness system while staying within Franchise brand and vendor guidelines.
- Act as sales leader, sales trainer, and sales coach for each person within the clubs assigned to you.
- Maintain weekly communication and meetings with COO on job-related activities and developments.
- Utilize existing tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues within district or Franchisee.
- Demonstrate effective management principles and practices, creating an environment where Franchisee Gym employees are valued and respected.
- Develop, coach, and mentor Franchisee and club team members, assisting in action plans for continuous improvement of results in each assigned location.
- Provide input for Operations Training program development and training programs offered by other departments such as marketing and finance.
- Roll out new policies and procedures to Management and ensure proper implementation; follow up on effectiveness through club visits.
- Coach and guide Franchisees and their teams on interviewing best practices for clubs.
- Support clubs in operations and fitness certification processes.
- Work with clubs to build best-in-class onboarding and development.
- Provide quarterly focus in daily KPI management through training and development.
- Participate in Franchise Business Coaching meetings and annual conference.
- Review Franchise Partner P&L’s; work with COO and CFO to develop action plans addressing cost control areas while ensuring adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Review Club Operational Reports (CORE) with Franchisee, using them as a measurement of operations’ ability to execute against company standards and as a development tool.
Requirements
- Build trust and credibility with general managers, Fitness Managers, club employees, peers, Franchise Partners, and operators.
- Influence others, make contributions, and support group consensus.
- Provide a clear understanding and vision of Corporate standards and priorities to Franchisees and their teams, obtaining results through influence.
- Take immediate and appropriate action to guide Franchisee in correcting substandard performance.
- Manage proactively by making timely and sound decisions, anticipating the impact of those decisions on the Company and the Franchisee.
- Inform the Chief Operating Officer and peers of important issues and offer potential solutions.
- Know how and when to escalate issues appropriately.
- Continuously develop self professionally and personally.
- Commit 110% to the team, franchisees, assigned clubs, and members.
Preferred Experience
- Working understanding of DataTrak and Club OS.
- Daily commitment to KPIs, including TI Conversion, Membership conversion, PT Set, Show, Close, and PT EFT as percentage of base.
- Telephony inquiry knowledge and support of guiding prospects through to an appointment.
- Experience with engineered tours.
- Understanding of small group personal training and its impact on PT/membership revenue.
- Use of daily numbers as a tool to change behaviors for success.
