Framing Manager
About the role
Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.
Responsibilities
- Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
- Develop and coach the team to sell effectively.
- Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
- Achieve individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage sales and production workload, build plans, and allocate sales floor time for networking.
- Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Interview, on-board, coach, observe, and train new Team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management activities of your team; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
- Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and budget.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to maintain a safe environment.
- Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
- Assist with Omni-channel processes.
Requirements
Basic computer skills. Previous custom framing experience preferred. Retail management experience and previous sales team leadership experience are preferred.
Qualifications
Ability to move throughout the store, stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, knowledge of custom framing techniques, familiarity with retail operations, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay
$17.50 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Nights, weekends, and early mornings are common work hours.
