What You'll Do
- Build the company's commercial engine from scratch.
- Define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and overall go to market strategy.
- Personally generate pipeline through outbound, partnerships, creative prospecting, and networking.
- Own the full sales cycle, from discovery and demos through negotiation and close.
- Help shape pricing, positioning, packaging, and category messaging.
- Land lighthouse customers that become long term reference accounts.
- Develop repeatable sales processes before hiring and leading the next generation of go to market talent.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who has already built before, not someone who inherited a mature sales organization.
- Ideal candidates have experience as a:
- Founding Account Executive
- First Revenue Hire
- Founding Head of Sales
- Early GTM Leader
- Startup Founder who built commercial functions
- Successful candidates will be able to clearly demonstrate examples of:
- Building pipeline from nearly zero
- Personally sourcing and closing enterprise customers
- Selling emerging or technical products
- Defining ICP and messaging from scratch
- Creating repeatable go to market playbooks
- Selling into enterprise marketing organizations, CMOs, Growth Leaders, Agencies, Publishers, or Performance Marketing teams
What We're Trying To Avoid
- This is not the right fit for someone whose career has primarily been spent at large, mature organizations with established SDR teams, marketing engines, and inherited books of business.
- We're looking for builders, not operators of an existing machine.
Compensation And Benefits
- $200K to $250K base salary (depending on experience)
- OTE of $285K to $350K
- Performance incentive

- Remote, West Coast preferred
