The job title is Founding GTM — US. This is a high-impact founding role as the first US employee, with a clear path to executive leadership and the mandate to build the entire regional GTM team from scratch. Backed by tier-one VCs and led by a founding team with elite backgrounds in private equity law (Paul Hastings) and machine learning (Monzo).

About the role

You will spearhead Alaro’s expansion into the American market, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll transform founder-led momentum into a repeatable book of revenue through high-touch, relationship-driven sales. This is a hands-on closing role designed to evolve into US commercial leadership as you scale the local team.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end US sales cycle, activating your existing network of GCs and C-suite executives to drive multi-touch enterprise deals through in-person relationship building.
• Manage the complete deal process from initial coffee to signed engagement, handling complex scoping and commercial negotiations for companies with over $50m in revenue.
• Establish the US GTM playbook and feedback loop, defining the market strategy and hiring the local team once revenue milestones are established.

Requirements

• An elite enterprise closer with a deep, active network of GCs, Heads of Legal, or C-suite buyers who will immediately take your call and accept a meeting.
• Proven experience selling high-trust services or complex software into legal departments, private markets, or professional services, ideally starting your career in law or finance.
• A self-starter comfortable operating without SDR support or air cover, possessing the commercial curiosity to navigate enterprise cycles faster than the traditional market pace.
