About the role
Accend is AI-enabled Moody’s Analytics, building the AI infrastructure layer for commercial credit underwriting. This role is foundational, shaping the revenue engine and helping architect the team that follows.
Responsibilities
- Build & Execute Outbound
- Identify and prioritize high-value target accounts
- Research decision-makers (Heads of Credit, Chief Credit Officers, Lending Ops, Risk)
- Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach that drives responses
- Consistently book qualified meetings every week
- Test and iterate messaging to improve conversion rates
- Own CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM data across all pipeline stages
- Ensure notes, next steps, and forecasting are always up to date
- Create and maintain dashboards that show pipeline health and performance
- Create repeatable workflows for lead routing, follow-ups, and stage progression
- Use AI to Scale GTM
- Use AI tools to research and qualify accounts at scale
- Build AI-assisted personalization workflows
- Identify buying signals using structured and unstructured data
- Experiment with automation tools to increase output without sacrificing quality
- Continuously optimize for leverage
- Drive Sales Conversations
- Lead discovery calls with prospects
- Understand customer workflows and pain points
- Clearly articulate Accend’s value
- Advance opportunities toward closed won
- Support pricing and commercial discussions
- Represent Accend
- Attend industry conferences, dinners, events with the CEO
- Help prepare meeting lists and event strategies
- Translate real customer feedback into sharper positioning
- Contribute to refining our ICP and messaging
Qualifications
- You are hungry, intelligent, and results-oriented

- You communicate clearly: written and spoken

- You are excited by fintech, banking infrastructure, AI, and enterprise sales
- You have 2-4 years in SDR / AE / GTM at a fintech company/high-growth startup
- You have sold to fintechs, banks, or complex B2B buyers
- You have demonstrated top performance
- You have proven outbound success
