About the role
The Founding Community & Operations Lead is responsible for scaling the campus network, executing event production, and conducting high-level outreach on behalf of the company.
Responsibilities
- Scale the campus network by managing student clubs and executing cold outreach to expand the "Date Drop" platform to new universities across the country.
- End-to-end event production for weekly San Francisco gatherings, including venue negotiation, marketing material creation, and on-site execution to ensure memorable experiences for attendees.
- Conduct high-level LinkedIn and brand outreach on behalf of the founder to drive strategic partnerships, press coverage, and key recruiting initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven track record of organizing complex real-world events and navigating logistics challenges like venue cancellations or RSVP management with composure and speed.
- Exceptional communicator who writes persuasive copy and feels comfortable building rapport with diverse stakeholders ranging from student leaders to bar managers.
- Highly organized operator with strong executive function, capable of juggling multiple operational threads and using AI tools like Claude or Zapier to automate repetitive workflows.
