Foodservice Worker (Flex)

Role Overview

Foodservice Workers perform routine tasks related to food portioning, serving, and cleaning in a clinical environment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and delivery.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas according to management and regulatory requirements.
• Record food temperatures and handle food storage properly.
• Place food trays for service or storage, weigh ingredients, and receive/store supplies.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets, labels, and recipes; may handle cash transactions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior food handling experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a collaborative attitude.

Schedule

Flex, per diem role with variable hours based on staffing needs; non-benefits eligible.
