Foodservice Worker (Flex)

About the role

Performs routine tasks in foodservice, including portioning, serving, cleaning, and maintaining work areas to ensure a professional service standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and delivery as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas per regulations.
• Monitor and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Handle food trays, storage, and ingredient measurements.
• Receive, store supplies, and potentially handle cash transactions.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets and labels accurately.

Qualifications

• Prior food handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
• Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Additional department‑specific skills may be required.

Schedule

This is a flexible, per diem role with hours varying based on staffing needs. No benefits eligibility.
