Foodservice Worker (Flex)

About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks including portioning, serving, cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary work environment. Ensures professional service standards are met in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and delivery tasks.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas in compliance with regulations.
• Record food and storage temperatures; handle food trays and storage.
• Weigh and measure ingredients; receive and store supplies and utensils.
• Read and interpret meal tickets, patient identifiers, and labels; may handle cash as needed.

Qualifications

Prior food handling experience preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Skills

Must adhere to safety and sanitation standards, with the ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks.

Requirements

Requires compliance with policies and procedures, with additional department-specific skills emphasized during orientation.
