Foodservice Worker (Flex)

About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks including portioning, serving, and cleaning to maintain a professional standard. Ensures compliance with safety and sanitation regulations while providing quality service in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, packaging, and delivery within the foodservice area.
• Clean and sanitize food service spaces per management and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor food and storage temperatures, handle food trays, and store supplies properly.
• Measure ingredients and manage inventory of food, utensils, and equipment.
• Read and interpret meal tickets, patient identifiers, labels, and recipes.
• May handle cash transactions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in food handling, preparation, serving, or cleaning preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and organizational procedures.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

This is a flexible, per‑diem role with hours varying based on departmental needs.
