Food Service Worker - Part Time

Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a food service worker to provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. Schedule

25 hours per week, with a permanent and set shift of 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle, prepare, and serve food in accordance with written menus and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare cafeteria food service and deliver food to customers.
• Restock cafeteria supplies.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
• Manage inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to ensure food availability.
• Assist with cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as needed.

As part of the Nutrition Department, you will contribute to patient care in a non-medical capacity, playing a key role in the recovery and healing process by providing quality and nutritious meals.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Food Handlers Permit (various options accepted).
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to work and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently without constant guidance.
• Eagerness to learn and ask questions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented mindset.
