Food Service Worker - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking Food Service Workers to assist with meal preparation, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Preparing quality food and baked goods following menu plans
• Serving food and beverages timely and according to policies
• Maintaining proper food storage and sanitation standards
• Completing daily transaction and meal records
• Ensuring food temperatures and presentation meet quality standards
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, counters, and work areas
• Adhering to all food safety and uniform policies
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and major cleaning tasks
• Performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Requirements

• Food Service Certificate (if required)
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
