Responsibilities
- Monitoring the bar as well as the indoor and outdoor seating areas of the restaurant in a supervisory capacity as well as being cross utilized in other food and beverage outlets, as necessary.
- Ensuring all guests are assisted by restaurant service staff to provide a flawless welcome and dining experience.
- Filling in whenever needed, ensuring the utmost in guest service while caring enough to do it well by adhering to Forbes standards.
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensuring smooth service flow and efficient kitchen and front-of-house coordination.
- Addressing staff concerns and customer feedback to improve overall service and team dynamics.
- Training and motivating staff to ensure the highest standards of service and presentation.
- Being responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area and the general property.
- Resolving issues promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes for beverage and food.
- Performing additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is recommended.
- Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire.
- Must have a current Food Handlers card.
- Minimum of one year of supervisor experience in a luxury resort setting is preferred.
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort.
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be flexible and available to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.
- Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
