About the role
As the supervisor at the resort restaurants, you'll provide leadership and guidance to the front-of-house team. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll assist in training and providing team oversight. With a passion for guest service, you'll lead the team in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager to ensure outstanding customer service and profitability within the Restaurant operations daily
- Comply with all Liquor and Labor regulations
- Responsible for reinforcement of department and company standards through training including all Everline policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Responsible for understanding POS system (InfoGenesis), updating changes and training staff in its use
- Responsible for the correct administration and supervision of restaurant reservations
- Responsible for the proper use of supplies, materials, and equipment
- Attends all meetings required of Department Leaders
- Maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
- Aids in the development and execution of new promotions, events, etc.
- Responsible for the service standards of the outlets
- Maintains strong knowledge of hospitality trends, especially in food & beverage
- Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
- Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
- Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- At least three years of fine dining food and beverage experience preferred
- Must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- At least 2 years of supervision in a hospitality setting
- Sommelier, Cicerone and mixology experience a plus
- Provide valid food handler and RBS from California within 30 days of hire
