Maintenance Supervisor
About the role
We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who can lead a high-volume manufacturing operation effectively. This role involves strategic thinking, tactical execution, and overseeing maintenance across all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and direction to the maintenance team.
- Follow through on plans provided by management and pass down updates for the following shift.
- Train and document new/temporary employees in their areas.
- Enforce company policies and ensure maintenance personnel follow SOPs and guidelines in key areas such as logging spare parts, following preventative maintenance schedules, and advising upper management on maintenance problems.
- Monitor utilities areas, production areas, and facilities areas.
- Ensure completion of shift’s assignments with complete thoroughness and ensure all parts used and any findings are properly reported.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems with maintenance team and be engaged in all areas.
- Provide input to changes, work with vendors or contractors on issues, and collaborate with management to improve reliability and efficiency of equipment.
- Support the maintenance department improvements through supporting the initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years leadership experience in maintenance, engineering, or technical operations within a high-volume beverage or manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading maintenance teams across multiple shifts, including scheduling, staffing, shift handoffs, and allocating resources in a 24/7 operation.
- A strong understanding of equipment reliability, preventative and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reducing planned and unplanned downtime.
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, equipment history, and maintenance activity.
- The ability to use maintenance data and KPIs to identify trends, prioritize work, and drive continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), or Maintenance Excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Pay
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
