About the Role
Pier Sixty-Six invites dedicated, energetic, and polished hospitality enthusiasts to join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor for Windows 66. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will lead restaurant and bar operations with creativity and passion, ensuring five-star service while assisting other F&B outlets as needed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the bar and indoor/outdoor seating areas of the restaurant, with cross-utilization in other food and beverage outlets as necessary.
- Ensure all guests receive a flawless welcome and dining experience through attentive service staff.
- Fill in wherever needed to maintain the highest guest service standards, adhering to Forbes standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures while ensuring smooth service flow and coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house.
- Address staff concerns and customer feedback to improve service and team dynamics.
- Train and motivate staff to uphold the highest standards of service and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and general property.
- Resolve issues promptly to sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes for beverages and food.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED recommended.
- TIPS certification required (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Current Food Handlers card required.
- Minimum of one year of supervisor experience in a luxury resort setting preferred.
- Ability to interact professionally with all associates and guests.
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.
- Capability to endure abundant physical movements throughout work areas.
