Floor Care Lead

About the role

The Floor Care Lead will coordinate activities within the Floor Care Program. Key responsibilities include inspecting and auditing areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate and monitor work activities
• Write reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
• Track supplies inventory and maintain
• Maintain records, including training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
• Correct at-risk behavior immediately, then report to supervisor
• Report accidents and incidents to supervisor immediately
• Maintain records, including training, inspections, attendance, and metric data

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement, but 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license and completed all safety and task training certification
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, willingness to share with team, knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
• Supervisory responsibilities not applicable

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents

Pay

$21.85- $22.85 per hour

Schedule

Sunday - Thursdays: 5:00PM - 1:30AM
