Float Pool Registered Nurse

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) floats between Acute Care and the Emergency Department, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical teams. They utilize established nursing models, advocate for patients and families, and support organizational values to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care according to department standards and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Serve as a patient advocate and model compassionate, holistic care.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year RN experience; ER or hospital nursing preferred.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI required.
