Float Pool Registered Nurse

Role: Float Pool Registered Nurse Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act, utilizing therapeutic communication to maintain a safe environment. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and document patient conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and patient education. Serve as a charge nurse, overseeing daily activities, staff assignments, and acting as a clinical resource. Qualifications: Current RN license from an accredited school, Tennessee licensure, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 2 years of hospital nursing experience. Key Skills: Strong clinical skills, effective communication, leadership abilities, adaptability, and teamwork. Ability to respond promptly to patient and staff needs and participate in performance improvement activities.
