Responsibilities

• Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals for in-person and virtual visits.
• Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care through behaviors, actions, and attitude.
• Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications, and ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Actively engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns, adhering to company values.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts, forwarding them as appropriate on a daily basis.
• Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians.
• Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
• Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-patient clinic and virtual settings.
• Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow-up.
• Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions.
• Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
• Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
• Adhere to standard Nurse Practitioner (NP) protocols and complete all mandatory compliance training.

• Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care.
• Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
• Welcome and onboard new employees, including facilitating introductions, clinic tours, and training.
• Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities for new employees.
• Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
• Perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified in the physical demands.
• Comply with company standards of operations and maintain confidentiality of patients, employees, and business information.
• Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Current, active, and verifiable license and DEA certification (or ability to obtain DEA within 120 days if limited by state law).
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice (strongly preferred).
• Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet credentialing requirements.
• DOT certification required for full-time and part-time providers within 120 days of employment.
• Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.

Experience Levels

• Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Level 2: Nurse Practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience.
• Level 3: Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience.
• Level 4: Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience.

Schedule

• PRN Employees: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
• Full-Time Employees: Required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Additional Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers

• Responsible for being on-call periodically throughout the year.
