About the Role

The Family Nurse Practitioner-Float provides high-quality healthcare in both clinical and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals.
• Lead and guide clinic staff, ensuring excellent patient service and professional standards.
• Assess patient histories, symptoms, allergies, and medications to formulate diagnoses.
• Order, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, compliance with regulations, and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Engage with clinical leadership, participate in training, and support new employee onboarding.
• Maintain a positive work environment, foster teamwork, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Perform on-call duties as needed and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Comply with all relevant regulations, support community outreach, and maintain professional growth through mandatory training.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and active license, DEA, and DOT certification.
• 1-5+ years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or similar settings is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, autonomous environments, with strong clinical judgment.
• Experience with telehealth is preferred.
