Fleet Coordinator - Central Office

This position is a critical role within the Business Operations Section serving as the Fleet Coordinator (Executive I salary). The position oversees the Department's fleet operations and supervises one Senior Office Support Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review monthly vehicle logs
• Assist with management of the yearly fleet budget
• Order license plates
• Maintain fleet record retention
• Manage titling and licensing of all DOC vehicles and trailers
• Prepare and submit various fleet reports
• Review vehicle and trailer requests
• Manage WEX fuel cards
• Manage Auto Loss Notices
• Serve as liaison between OA Fleet and OA Vehicle Maintenance
• Oversee Department fleet information in the FleetWave system

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (one of the following):

• One or more years of experience as a Senior Office Support Assistant with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
• Four or more years of office or related clerical experience; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency

Experience substitutions:

• Training from an accredited vocational or business school in Office Management, Secretarial Science, or a closely related field may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours, or 480 clock hours, for one year
• Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year

Compensation

• Executive I salary grade
• $2.00 per hour shift differential for shifts beginning on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am at a 24/7 congregate care facility (institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center)
• $0.75 per hour medium security differential or $1.50 per hour maximum security differential for full-time work at a qualifying facility
• $1.00 per hour restrictive housing differential for regular assignment within a restrictive housing/segregation unit at any facility
• Guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years

If transferring from another State of Missouri agency with state retention pay, note that the Department of Corrections administers retention based upon your retention anniversary date; your retention pay upon transfer may differ until you reach your applicable retention anniversary date.
