Fleet Coordinator
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs inventory control and parts ordering including record keeping activities.
- Parts receiving including checking parts, tagging with in-house parts numbering, and setting up parts at shop locations.
- Enters repair orders, researches and sets up road repair or outside repair including repair for on-road breakdowns.
- Sets up work schedule for the day and inputs, adds, modifies and maintains preventative maintenance schedule.
- Works with suppliers on costs for parts.
- Set-up moving of equipment between sites for repairs.
- Arrange for truck changes with dispatchers when trucks are out of service.
- Procures vehicles and performs property control activities.
Job Specifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Excellent PC skills are required.
- Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills are required.
Working Conditions
- An office environment.
- The ability to lift parts and materials is required.
