Fleet Coordinator

About the role

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will use technology to guide your team in the field to ensure our fleet of vehicles are ready for our members. Vehicles should be clean, in good condition, and ready to drive – this all depends on you. You will work internally with your team as well as externally with our various vendors to keep everyone on time, organized, and where they need to be.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the repair life cycle of our vehicles from the time they require repair to the time they go back on the grid for rent, working with ABG supply chain partners, third party maintenance vendors, third party shuttling companies, towing vendors, and impound recovery facilities.
• Be hands-on in helping keep the fleet available to customers, including moving vehicles around the lot and occasionally going into the field to assist with work tickets.
• Update Zipcar’s platform (work management system) daily with ETAs of when vehicles will be complete, any pertinent notes to the repair process, and close out the ticket loop once complete.
• Secure in-fleet units from ABG, including requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-kitting.
• Schedule de-fleet units for disposal.

Requirements

• Strong relationship-building skills
• Background working with third-party vendors
• Background working with online ticket-based workflows (strongly preferred)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business need
• Background working with fleet (strongly preferred)
• Logistics background (preferred)
