FIT NYC Adjunct Faculty Pool- Technical Design, Browzwear 3D Software
The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), an internationally renowned college of art and design, business, and technology within the State University of New York, invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Technical Design Department, School of Business and Technology.

About the Role
The Technical Design Department is recruiting applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions. This part-time position begins in Spring 2026, with courses running during fall semesters. Adjunct instructors deliver course material, assess student performance, provide guidance, and submit grades on time.
Responsibilities
- Instruct beginning students in Browzwear and Technical Design, including pattern correction.
- Import patterns from Gerber Accumark into 3D Avatar for fitting in Browzwear.
- Correct patterns in Browzwear/Gerber and teach these skills to students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field or a closely related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in the field or a closely related field.
- Teaching experience at the college level.
- Current Browzwear software knowledge and pattern-correction skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Pay
$89.98 per hour based on minimum qualifications. The final rate is determined by demonstrated qualifications and experience, in accordance with the UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement.
