About the role
This position supports the financial functions that keep agency accounts organized, accurate, and aligned with established procedures.
Responsibilities
- : Analyze accounting records and enter financial data into the computer accounting system
- : Assist with steps needed to implement a new general ledger and bookkeeping application
- Payroll Duties: Process salary and manage payroll allocations
- Monthly Reconciliations: Complete assigned reconciliations to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Audit Preparation: Assist with organizing materials and information needed for agency audits
Requirements
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.

Schedule
Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Employee may have occasional overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training. Often, irregular hours, including: evening and weekends may be required.

- Sign On Bonus - $2,000
