Fire Protection Project Manager

About the role

Responsible for overseeing fire protection projects from design through construction phase. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams to meet deadlines and budget constraints
• Oversee the design and implementation of fire suppression systems
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and codes
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fire protection engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
• Experience with project management tools

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
