About the role
The Fire Protection Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of fire protection systems in various projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of fire protection systems
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure system integration
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure system effectiveness
- Train facility staff on proper operation and maintenance of fire protection systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
