Finished Goods Clerk

About the role

The Finished Goods Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient inventory management and order fulfillment for Darling Ingredients. This position is vital for maintaining the accuracy and organization of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer sales orders from finished goods inventory in a timely manner.
• Ensure all finished goods are stored in the proper inventory locations in the warehouse.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory using the computer system.
• Maintain First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system in finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Transport finished goods between buildings as necessary.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries from customers and management.
• Keep the warehouse area clean, neat, and organized.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• College degree in related area preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an administration function, preferably in inventory or sales-related work.
