About the role
The Finished Goods Clerk is responsible for pulling customer sales orders from finished goods inventory in a timely manner. Ensures all finished goods are stored in the proper inventory locations in the warehouse. Monitors and maintains an accurate and up-to-date inventory.
Responsibilities
- Put all finished goods into inventory as per its assigned locations.
- Pull domestic, international, and subsidiary sales orders from inventory.
- Perform inventory transactions on the computer system.
- Maintain FIFO system in finished goods to ensure inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
- Transport finished goods between buildings.
- Answer telephone and email inquiries.
- Keep warehouse area clean, neat and organized.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, college degree in related area preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administration function, preferably in inventory or sales-related work.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Good mechanical and administration skills.
- Ability to lead; can give and take direction.
- Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
