Clerk I, Finished Goods

About the role

We are hiring a Finished Goods Clerk to join our Finished Goods team. This position requires physically maneuvering heavy items on a continuous basis. You will manually pull and pack parts for shipments and identify hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pack parts for shipment
• Receive and stock parts into various locations using a forklift
• Auxiliary in answering questions about inventory and back-order availability
• Review received orders, pull the appropriate parts from a rack, load into a bin, and place orders in the staging area for packing and shipping while verifying accurate quantity and part number
• Identify Hazardous Materials markings and label appropriately as required by regulated shipping standards
• Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory and ship domestic/international orders according to specifications
• Ensure the Finished Goods area is clean and organized

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• At least 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs.
• Basic Hazardous Materials knowledge is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as a strong ability to work in a team environment are required to be successful in this position

Pay

Hiring Range: $17.00 - $24.58
